Started on March 15, 2023, the fall in the indices of the Regional Securities Exchange (BRVM) continued with a fall of more than 0.30% the following day.

The BRVM Prestige Index (which includes all the stocks listed in the Prestige compartment), recorded a decrease of 0.39% to 106.95 points compared with 107.37 points previously. As for the composite index (the general stock market index), it fell by 0.37% to 206.36 points compared with 207.12 points the day before. As for the BRVM 30 index (index of the 30 most traded stocks on the market), it fell by 0.35% to 103.34 points compared with 103.70 points the day before.

The stock market capitalization fell by 28.313 million, from 7705.353 billion FCFA the day before to 7677,040 billion FCFA on March 16, 2023. The capitalization of bonds is also down, standing at 10,151.075 billion FCFA compared to 10,152.640 billion FCFA the day before (-1.565 billion FCFA). The value of transactions, for its part, was 531.451 million FCFA compared to 468.452 million FCFA the day before.

The top 5 largest price declines were occupied by BOA Mali (minus 7.50% to 1,295 FCFA), Servair Abidjan Ivory Coast (minus 6.50% to 1,295 FCFA), Sicable Ivory Coast (minus 5.63% to 1,090 FCFA), Bernabé Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.94%) at 1 950 FCFA) and Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.25% at 745 FCFA). While the Top 5 of the largest price increases were respectively occupied by Bolloré Côte d'Ivoire (plus 6.09% to 1,480 FCFA), Compagnie Ivoirienne d'Électricie Côte d'Ivoire (plus 2.14% to 2,145 FCFA), Total Senegal (plus 1.85% to 2,750 FCFA), CFAO Côte d'Ivoire (plus 1.78% to 860 FCFA) and BICICI Côte d'Ivoire (plus 0.93% to FCFA) 6 495 FCFA).
