After the trading session on Thursday, April 6, 2023, with an overall improvement, the black streak of the three flagship indices of the Regional Securities Exchange (BRVM), marked by several days of uninterrupted declines, came to an end.

The BRVM 30 index (index of the 30 most traded stocks on the market) also gained 0.27% to 99.98 points compared with 99.71 points the day before. This index is below 200 points. The BRVM Prestige Index (which includes all the stocks listed in the Prestige compartment) increased by 0.35% to 102.97 points compared with 102.61 points the day before. While the composite index (the general stock market index) thus increased by 0.27% to 199.91 points compared with 199.37 points the day before. Again, the index is below the symbolic mark of 200 points.

The capitalization of the stock market increased by 20.368 billion, from 7416.971 billion FCFA the day before to 7437.339 billion FCFA on April 6, 2023. And the bond market fell by 5.351 billion, standing at 10,036.531 billion FCFA compared to 10,041.882 billion FCFA on April 5, 2023. As for the value of transactions, it increased from 327.611 million FCFA on April 5, 2023 to 520.781 million FCFA on April 6.

The top 5 largest price declines were occupied by Servair Abidjan Ivory Coast (minus 5.12% to 1,205 FCFA), Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.96% at 750 FCFA), Société Générale Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.13% at 13 990 FCFA), Société Générale Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.13% to FCFA 13,990) FA) and Orange Côte d& rsquo; Ivory (minus 1.06% at 9 300 FCFA). While the Top 5 largest price increases are respectively occupied by Ecobank Côte d'Ivoire shares (plus 7.42% to 5,210 FCFA), Crown SIEM Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (plus 6.92% to 695 FCFA), Setao Côte d'Ivoire (plus 4.76% to 1,100 FCFA), BOA Senegal (plus 4.14% at 2,265 FCFA) and Bolloré Côte d'Ivoire (plus 3.19% to 1,455 FCFA) and Bolloré Côte d'Ivoire (plus 3.19% to 1,455 FCFA) FA).
