Entrepreneurs, businessmen, Ivorians and Senegalese want to get to know each other better and strengthen their economic relations. To this end, a Dakar-Abidjan connect (Sedac) economic fair is being prepared to be held in Abidjan, in July 2023, and in Dakar, in December 2023.

The initiator of the Dakar-Abidjan Connec Economic Show (Sedac) Lo Cheikh obtained support for the event from the Senegalese Ambassador to Côte d'Ivoire, His Excellency General El Hadj Daouda Niang. They thus signed the joint organization agreement memorandum. This signing of a memorandum of understanding between the consular diplomatic mission and the organizing committee of the Abidjan-Dakar Connect (Sedac) economic fair, according to Ambassador El Hadj Daouda Niang. This agreement aims to make every effort to ensure the success of this event. According to the diplomat, their objective is to take advantage of all the cooperation instruments that exist between the two countries to explore new fields of cooperation and to strengthen them dynamically.

His hope is that this exchange framework will allow the largest number of Ivorian and Senegalese economic operators to exploit new routes, to find new sectors in which our two countries will make capital gains and to increase the wealth of Ivorian and Senegalese economic fabrics. The exhibition aims to bring at least 200 SMEs, SMEs, entrepreneurs, and businessmen from Senegal to Côte d'Ivoire for several days to meet 200 other Ivorian colleagues, and vice versa. The event will take place at the Treichville Palace of Culture in July in Abidjan and at the King Fahd Palace Hotel in December 2023 in Dakar, Senegal.
