The barrel of West Texas Intermediate (WTI), for delivery in May, gained 0.24% to $82.36, while a barrel of Brent from the North Sea for delivery in June took 0.22% to 86.28 dollars, around 09:30 GMT (11:30 CET). According to analysts at DNB, “OPEC expects a highly undersupplied market in the second half of 2023, but is reducing production starting in May.”
