In its intention to help Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company (ECCBC), the bottler of The Coca-Cola in North and West Africa, reduce its water and energy consumption and increase plastic recycling in the 13 countries where it operates, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a subsidiary of the Banque mondiale , disburses a loan of €64 million.

The funding provided by IFC includes a €52 million loan to IFC's own account, the equivalent of €8.5 million in dollars from Canada's IFC Climate Mixed Finance Program (BCFP), and €3.5 million in dollar equivalent from Alafaq Aljadida's Private Sector Development Program (PSD) in the Middle East and in North Africa (MENA). IFC is also planning to provide consulting services to help Equatorial Coco-Cala Bottling Company implement sustainability measures
