In its intention to help Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company (ECCBC), the bottler of The Coca-Cola in North and West Africa, reduce its water and energy consumption and increase plastic recycling in the 13 countries where it operates, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a subsidiary of the Banque mondiale , disburses a loan of €64 million.

The funding provided by IFC includes a €52 million loan to IFC's own account, the equivalent of €8.5 million in dollars from Canada's IFC Climate Mixed Finance Program (BCFP), and €3.5 million in dollar equivalent from Alafaq Aljadida's Private Sector Development Program (PSD) in the Middle East and in North Africa (MENA).
