On Thursday, May 4, 2023, the Beninese State raised an amount of 38.500 billion FCFA on the UEMOA financial market. This was at the end of a simultaneous auction of Treasury Bonds (BAT) with a maturity of 182 and 364 days and equivalent Treasury Bonds (OAT)

The issuer auctioned 35 billion FCFA according to UMOA-Securities organizing the operation. He was offered bids of 50.419 billion FCFA after the auction, giving a coverage rate of 144.06% of the amount put up for auction. The amount of the successful bids is 38.500 billion FCFA and the one rejected at 11.919 billion FCFA, representing an absorption rate of 76.36%. Benin undertakes to repay the 182-day bonds on the first business day following the due date of November 2, 2023 and May 5, 2026 for the bonds
