On Friday, May 26, 2023, the General Directorate of Treasury and Public Accounting obtained the sum of 20.185 billion FCFA from the financial market (UEMOA). This was following a simultaneous auction of 364-day Treasury Bonds (BAT) and 3-year Treasury Bonds (OAT).

The issuer auctioned 20 billion FCFA and ended up with total bids of 37.942 billion FCFA, representing a coverage rate of 189.71% of the amount auctioned. The amount of successful bids is 20.185 billion FCFA and that rejected at 17.756 billion FCFA, i.e. an absorption rate of 53.20%. Investors whose bids were successful will end up with a weighted average return of 6.72% for bonds and 7.18% for bonds
