The “Income-generating Activities” program aims to combat unemployment in Gabon, where the youth rate is 36% according to the International Labour Organization (ILO), one of the highest in sub-Saharan Africa.

To benefit from a microcredit as part of the global fund of 2 billion FCFA recently launched by the Gabonese State, MSME promoters and economically weak Gabonese people are invited to apply from 26 June to 7 July 2023. Applications are expected in provincial governorates, prefectures and sub-prefectures

They must contain a handwritten application, a copy of an identity document, a CNAMGS (National Health Insurance and Social Guarantee Fund) card with the mention GEF, as well as documents proving cooperative or association status.

Applicants must be GEFs working individually, in cooperatives, or in associations in fields such as commerce, crafts, agriculture, fishing, livestock, and small-scale processing.
