At its year-end general meeting held at its headquarters in Daloa, the cooperative of coffee and cocoa producers Agria announced on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 that it had made a profit of 8.46 million CFA francs.

On its main product, which is the sale of cocoa beans, Agrial has achieved a turnover of 3.197 billion CFA francs and has benefited from 49.22 million CFA francs in equalization of costs for transporting products to the port, specified its chairman of the board of directors, Odyssé Kouassi, welcoming a” Very good exercise” compared to the previous one.

The General Assembly decided to allocate the result to the deferral again in order to allow the cooperative to have more own resources to finance its projects and pursue its development more calmly.

Agrial, which wants to be a modern and civic cooperative, contributes to meeting these challenges through its commitment to the elimination of the worst forms of child labour, the promotion of the schooling of children in its areas of activity, agroforestry and the empowerment of women by partnering with various projects.
