Togo raised, on July 14, 2023, the sum of 16.445 billion FCFA on the UEMOA financial market after a simultaneous auction of 182-day treasury equivalent bonds (BAT) and 3- and 5-year treasury equivalent bonds (OATs).

The aim of this fundraiser is to ensure that the financing needs of the Togolese state budget are covered. Thus, for the purposes of the operation, the issuer had auctioned an amount of 30 billion FCFA. In the end, he ended up with global tenders of 33.283 billion FCFA. This gives a coverage rate of 110.94% for the amount put up for tender

The amount of successful bids was 16.445 billion FCFA and the rejected one was 16.838 billion FCFA. This corresponds to an absorption rate of 49.41%. Investors whose bids were successful will end up with a weighted return of 6.99% for 182-day bonds, 7.48% for 3-year bonds, and 7.45% for 5-year
