In Côte d'Ivoire, the Vice President of the Republic, Tiémoko Meyliet Koné, officially inaugurated the Abidjan Exhibition Centre on Monday, July 17, in the town of Port Bouët.

The Ivorian State inaugurates the Abidjan Exhibition Center, “the largest in French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa.” Valued at more than $128 million, the new international showcase would be the largest exhibition center in French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa, according to local authorities

Built on an area of 16 hectares, near Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport, the architectural jewel includes a large exhibition hall, a Convention Center with 5,000 seats, an administrative building, a semi-covered car park with 800 seats, and various outdoor structures. At a cost of 75 billion FCFA (more than $128 million), the complex was built by the Ivorian group PFO Africa
