At the end of a simultaneous issuance of the auction of 364-day treasury equivalent bonds (BAT) and 3- and 5-year treasury equivalent bonds (OAT), which took place on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, Mali raised 9.555 billion FCFA on the UEMOA financial market. It was in order to ensure that the financing needs of its budget were covered.

The issuer auctioned off an amount of 25 billion FCFA and received global bids of 10.805 billion FCFA from investors, representing a coverage rate of the auctioned amount of 43.22%. Investors whose bids were successful will end up with a weighted average return of 8.56% for 364-day bonds, 7.79% for 3-year bonds, and 7.95% for 5-year

The amount of tenders selected is 9.555 billion FCFA and the rejected one is 1.250 billion FCFA, representing an absorption rate of 88.43%.
