The launch of the Scientific Committee's activities is being held on September 19, 2023 in the Plateau. It is part of the 6th edition of the Sectoral Meetings. This edition addresses the Mining, Petroleum and Energy sector, in order to encourage the involvement of stakeholders in its implementation for the competitiveness of this sector.

“What state-private partnership for a competitive mining, oil and energy sector in Côte d'Ivoire? ”, this is the theme around which the 6th edition of the Sectoral Meetings revolves. This meeting aims to strengthen the State/Private Sector consultation around the general development policy of the Mining, Petroleum and Energy sector, in order to encourage the involvement of stakeholders in its implementation for the competitiveness of this sector. The aim is to establish a climate of trust between the State and the private sector, conducive to the harmonious conduct of economic activities and a stronger contribution by the Private Sector in Côte d'Ivoire's progress towards development.

It is a question of examining the challenges faced by actors in the sector and helping to highlight the scope of the reforms and projects initiated as well as the perspectives.
