On Monday, October 2, 2023, the President of Interpol (International Criminal Police Organization), Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi, welcomed Angola's commitment to fighting cybercrime on the African continent.

Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi, pointed out that Angola is currently at the forefront in issues related to fighting cybercrime in Africa. He thus underlined that he had assured the Vice-President of the Republic of the organization's continued support to Angola in the fight against crime, in particular cybercrime, as well as to other states in the African region. According to him, “transnational crime affects everyone and that the best way to fight it is to establish great collaboration between all countries”.
