At 05:15 GMT, copper at three months on the London Metal Exchange (LME) rose by 0.1% to $7,999 per metric ton. Copper prices were influenced by the increase in stocks in warehouses registered with the LME, which climbed to 181,150 tons, the highest level since October 2021. The most traded copper contract on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) in November fell 0.4% to 66,460 yuan ($9,096.63) per ton, also representing a weekly decrease. On a weekly basis, the contract fell by 0.6%, representing the second consecutive week of decline.
SHFE aluminum fell by 0.8% to 18,950 yuan per ton, zinc lost 0.6% to 21,155 yuan, lead fell by 0.6% to 16,275 yuan, while nickel increased by 1% to 151,530 yuan, and tin increased 0.4% to 213,460 yuan. And LME aluminum rose 0.1 percent to $2,201.50 per ton, nickel increased 0.1 percent to $18,750, zinc increased 0.1 percent to $2,451.50, lead increased 0.8 percent to $2,070.50, and tin increased 0.8 percent to $25,000
