Thanks to the depreciation of the dollar which made metals sold at the greenback cheaper for holders of other currencies, the price of London copper rose at the end of the week.

At 05:15 GMT, copper at three months on the London Metal Exchange (LME) rose by 0.1% to $7,999 per metric ton. Copper prices were influenced by the increase in stocks in warehouses registered with the LME, which climbed to 181,150 tons, the highest level since October 2021. The most traded copper contract on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) in November fell 0.4% to 66,460 yuan ($9,096.63) per ton, also representing a weekly decrease.
