US West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell by 3 cents to $85.36 per barrel and Brent oil futures fell by 3 cents to $90.10 per barrel as of 1:00 GMT. Backed by continuing concerns about the Middle East conflict, benchmark oil contracts rose by nearly 2% on Wednesday. According to EIA data, U.S. refineries saw their crude production decrease by 207,000 barrels per day, while refinery utilization rates also fell by 0.5 percentage points to 85.6% of total
capacity.
