The director general of SENELEC, Papa Mademba Bitèye, announced that the aim of the partnership established between these various electricity companies is to establish and densify an electrical network common to the OMVG countries, and also to diversify the sources of electrical energy production. The High Commissioner of OMVG, El Hadji Lansana Fofana, encouraged the signatories to continue to collaborate, following the example of the authorities of the subregional organization who have demonstrated their ability to work together for the well-being of their
populations.
