Le mardi 7 novembre 2023 s' est tenue une rencontre entre the Transitional President, President of the Republic, Head of State, General MAHAMAT IDRISS DEBY ITNO and a délégation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). It was an opportunity to support the level of collaboration between the IMF and Chad and to lay the foundations for the country's economic and financial prosperity.

During the discussions between General MAHAMAT IDRISS DEBY ITNO and the director of the Africa Department of the ABEBE institution AEMRO SÉLASSIÉ, which heads the IMF, the Head of State and his host reviewed the economic and financial health of Chad as well as the prospects for their cooperation. The trend, considered good and promising in terms of indicators, in addition to the guidelines given by the President of the Republic, heralds a better future for the economy and finances of Chad
