In order to generate income beyond mining, Ghana plans to locally transform the minerals in its subsoil that are essential for the energy transition. The Atlantic Lithium pilot project benefits from various incentives offered by the Ghanaian government for its implementation. Indeed, in the event of positive results, Atlantic will build a lithium processing plant in Ghana in order to support the ambition of metals linked to the energy transition. It should be noted that the results will be available in the first quarter of 2024. The project called Ewoyaa, for which Atlantic Lithium obtained a mining license last October style="font-family: "Bookman Old Style”, "serif"">, can generate $6.6 billion in revenue in 12 years.
