Le 64th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West Africa (ECOWAS) opened last Sunday 10 in Abuja (Nigeria), on transitions under way in 4 member countries of ECOWAS

The ongoing transitions in Mali, Burkina Faso and Guinea, the three suspended member countries of the body, and Niger, as well as the economic component, are among the items discussed on the agenda during the summit of heads of state and government.
