A financing agreement has been signed between the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the West African Development Bank (BOAD). This agreement concerns the granting of a credit line of 70 million euros to reinforce BOAD's support to the private sector of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA

Le projet bénéficiera d' un financement conjoint d' un organisme public italien, Cassa Depositi and Prestiti , which is contributing 60 million euros, and from the Development Finance Institute Canada (FINDEV), which is contributing 20 million euros. The Bank will support BOAD in its strategy to provide its member states with the medium and long-term resources they need for their development. The credit line will also strengthen the resilience of the private sector, which is the main driver of economic growth and development in the UEMOA region
