A super-mobile banking application called BRImo has been set up in Indonesia. It is an all-in-one solution designed to foster financial inclusion, digital culture, and improve customer experiences for digital transformation and sustainable growth.

Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) President and CEO Sunarso said that “in the competitive mobile banking landscape in Indonesia, BRImo has contributed significantly to the progress of the sector. In less than four years, the number of BRImo users increased from 2.9 million in 2019 to 30.4 million.” BRiMo recorded a transaction value of 2,984 billion Indonesian rupiah, allowing BRI to generate an income of 1.8 trillion Indonesian rupiah through fees, and thus continue to grow

The BRImo application makes it possible to open a digital account in just seven minutes nationally and internationally in 11 countries, to promote financial inclusion through a card-free ecosystem (including payments based on the QR code), to offer a single solution for all customer needs, such as financial supermarkets, digital loans, investments and the integration of subsidiaries, and to allow customers to file claims directly through BRiMo. It also makes it easy to open savings in foreign currencies with multi-currency options
