This month's celebration of Bitcoin's ^15th anniversary was followed by its eruption on Wall Street with overwhelming enthusiasm.

After receiving regulatory approval; after two days of trading, investors adopted 11 American exchange-traded funds (ETFs), which track the bitcoin spot price and started trading on January 11. According to data from the analytics firm Glassnode, they owned a total of 644,860 bitcoins worth over $27 billion. The 11 ETFs have registered total inflows of $4.1 billion since January 11. According to Glassnode, the entry of the world's largest cryptocurrency into the world's largest stock market “marks the end of the beginning of the maturation and growth phase of Bitcoin.”

The total value of bitcoin traded on cryptocurrency exchanges is around $500 million per day on average according to Brent Donnelly, currency trader and president of Spectra Markets.
