The most active wheat contract on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) fell by 0.1% to 5.30-1/4 dollars per bushel, at 1:43am, after reaching the lowest level since August 2020 at 5.28-1/2 dollars per bushel earlier in the day. Wheat prices came under renewed pressure after Algeria purchased at least 870,000 metric tons on Tuesday, mostly cheap wheat produced in the Black Sea region.

Corn fell, giving up some of the gains from the last session, while soybeans remained virtually unchanged. Corn fell 0.1% to 4.28-1/2 dollars per bushel and soybeans remained stable at 11.48-1/4

For corn and soybeans, traders are waiting for the monthly supply and demand report to be published on Friday by the US Department of Agriculture, in order to assess South American production.
