banks in the country.In his statement, Hakama Ali said that the capital base of banks with international authorization had been increased to 500 billion naira while that of national banks had been increased to 200 billion naira. The CBN ordered interest-free banks with national and regional authorizations to increase their capital to 20 and 10 billion naira, respectively
.In addition, she noted that all banks required to meet the minimum capital requirement within 24 months, beginning on April 1 and ending on March 31, 2026.
