The EmpAct Studio has chosen the Institut National Polytechnique Félix Houphouët-Boigny (INP-HB) and the International University of Grand Bassam (IGUB) of Côte d'Ivoire as academic partners to launch its activities in West Africa.

Studio emPact is an American investment firm that supports the entrepreneurial initiatives of young talent in order to accelerate start-ups serving critical value chains in frontier markets. Its program stimulates innovations in the agricultural value chain while encouraging sustainable practices. In addition to Côte d'Ivoire, it will be deployed in other countries. The aim is to enable current and former students from partner universities and non-partner universities to benefit from mentoring as entrepreneurs through hybrid training provided by partner academic institutions and the global EMPact program. After the training, the incubation phase will follow and then a start-up accelerator will follow to offer the incubatees continuous mentoring and continuing training
