From Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 April 2024, a multisectoral Ivorian Coast-Egypt mission was held in Abidjan. It is organized under the collaboration between the Africa Development Club of the Attijariwafa bank group, the and Attijariwafa bank Société Ivoirienne de Banque Egypt and the Egyptian Commercial Department. under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Egypt.

Held under the theme “Egypt — Côte d'Ivoire Business Bridge”, the multisectoral mission aimed to facilitate commercial relationships between the customers of Attijariwafa Bank Egypt and those of the Société Ivoirienne de Banque , with the partnership of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the support of the Deputy Minister of Commerce and Industry of the Arab Republic of Egypt, President of Egyptian Commercial Department, Yahia Elwathik Bellah, present at the event alongside some thirty investors from Egypt. During this mission, a panel of eminent personalities was held, BtoB networking sessions bringing together more than 80 business leaders from Côte d'Ivoire and Egypt, as well as field visits, including visits to the infrastructures of the Autonomous Port of Abidjan

Ismail Douiri, CEO of the Attijariwafa bank group on this occasion reiterated the commitment of the Attijariwafa bank group to support the development of African economies and to promote trade between the countries of the continent.
