Lors du sommet 3iAfrica, which took place in Accra, Proxtera announced on May 15 that it had entered into a partnership with the Development Bank of Ghana (DBG).

The agreement between Proxtera and DBG aims to set up a $100 million digital platform to provide loans to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Ghana. According to Kwamina Duker, managing director of DBG, the platform will make the process of obtaining loans much faster and more efficient, thus helping to reduce the risk premium of the interest rate applied to SMEs over time. As part of this partnership, DBG, via the Proxtera digital platform, will offer beneficiary SMEs loans for growth and expansion. This partnership between DBG and Proxtera marks a major turning point in Ghana's journey towards digital financial inclusion. This collaboration will contribute to stimulating economic growth in Ghana and creating employment opportunities, while strengthening the country's economic fabric.
