Casava, a tech entrepreneur has set up an insurtech solution for the management of illnesses or disasters in Nigeria.

Casava is an insurtech solution developed by a Nigerian startup. It allows users to access insurance policies online. In February 2022, it raised 4 million to improve its technology and expand its activities in order to provide affordable insurance to Nigerians and other Africans. The solution does not have a mobile application. You have to go through the browser and go to the Casava web platform to access the various services. The start-up, based in Lagos, has two services for individuals. These are Health Insurance and Health Cash. Health Insurance is a health insurance that provides care in more than 400 partner hospitals of Casava. From dental care to surgery, Health Insurance covers a wide range of conditions. The second is a service that allows the user to be reimbursed for health expenses every time they receive health care due to an accident.
