At the end of last week, the activities of the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM) all recorded positive developments after the trading session on Friday.

The three flagship indices of the BRVM have returned to the rise. The BRVM Composite index gained 1.22% to 225.29 points against 222.57 points the day before. The BRVM 30 index also recorded an increase of 1.14% to 112.82 points against 111.55 points previously. The BRVM Prestige index is also up by 1.12% to 105.75 points against 104.58 points the day before.
The value of transactions thus remained above one billion FCFA billion, standing at 1.465 billion FCFA against 1.018 billion FCFA the day before. The market capitalization of the equity market increased by 101.511 billion, to 8,381.544 billion FCFA against 8,280.033 billion FCFA on Thursday, May 30, 2024. That of the bond market is in the same dynamic, going from 10 293.099 billion FCFA the day before to 10 307.734 billion FCFA this Friday, May 31, 2024, i.e. an increase of 14.635 billion FCFA

The Flop 5 of the largest price drops is occupied by Bernabé Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.14% to 975 FCFA), Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (minus 6.25% to FCFA 375), Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (minus 6.25% to FCFA 375), Total Senegal (minus 2.22% to 2,200 FCFA), Sucrivoire Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.96% to 500 FCFA), Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (minus 6.25% to FCFA 375), Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (minus 6.25% to FCFA 375), Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (minus 6.25% to FCFA 375), Total Senegal (minus 2.22% to 2,200 FCFA), Sucrivoire Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.96% to FCFA 500)) and SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.27% to 780 FCFA). The Top 5 of the largest price increases are occupied respectively by Unilever Côte d'Ivoire shares (plus 7.50% at 6,450 FCFA), BICI Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.50% at 8,605 FCFA), Oragroup Togo (plus 6.51% at 1,800 FCFA), Vivo Energy Côte d'Ivoire (plus 5.44% at 775 FCFA) and Total Côte d'Ivoire (plus 4.25% at 2,085 FCFA
