At the African CIO Awards ceremony, which took place in Marrakech (Morocco), on 30 May 2024, on the sidelines of GITEX Africa, Orange Bank Africa was awarded the “Innovation” award.

Orange Bank Africa is a pioneer institution in the field of financial inclusion in Côte d'Ivoire. The Information Systems Director of Orange Bank Africa, Affi Jean-Yann Attoungbré, received the Innovation Prize for his involvement in the implementation of an algorithm, the Explainable Boosting Machine (EBM). According to him, “this award highlights the exceptional quality of our teams and our determination to offer accessible, transparent financial services. We will continue to push the boundaries of innovation to better serve our customers.”
