Benchmark copper on the London Metal Exchange (LME) was up 0.6% to $9,819 per metric ton at 10 am GMT, after reaching its lowest level since May 2 at $9,741 after speculators cut their bets on higher prices.
Aluminum was down 0.6% at $2,563 per ton, zinc rose 1.1% to $2,798, lead slipped 0.4% to $2,191, tin was up 0.8% to $2,191, tin was up 0.8% to $31,695 per ton, and nickel gained 0.1% to $18,055.
