An institutional shareholder accuses Elon Musk of making billions of dollars selling Telsa shares through insider information. The complaint was filed on Tuesday, asking the court to order the Tesla CEO to return “profits ill& equal”.

The complaint filed by the Employees' Retirement System of Rhode Island (ERSRI) mentions that Elon Musk and his brother, Kimbal Musk, a Tesla director, sold $30 billion worth of shares in the electric vehicle manufacturer between the end of 2021 and the end of 2022, before information that could cause the shares to fall was made public.
