In order to finalize the rehabilitation of the Babadjou-Bamenda road started in 2017, on June 14, the Board of Directors of the World Bank (WB) granted Cameroon additional financing of 30 billion CFA francs.

The additional financing of 30 billion FCFA approved by the World Bank is intended for the rehabilitation of the urban crossing of the city of Bamenda of the sections Amour Mezam Junction-Finance Junction-Finance Junction-Finance Junction-Finance Junction-Finance Junction-Finance Junction-Veterinary Junction-Veterinary Junction-Veterinary Junction-Hospital Roundabout-Hospital Roundabout-Hospital Roundabout-Hospital Roundabout-Veterinary Junction, over a total length of 6.538 km. Thanks to this additional funding, the finalization of the work should make it possible to boost exchanges between Cameroon and Nigeria.
