Les Mining revenues in Niger are composed of “mining royalties, profits taxes, customs duties and other taxes and duties” according to the Itie report. Niger's extractive revenues represented 12% of total state revenues, 42% of exports and 8% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2021. However, the share of mines in extractive income fell slightly, from 37.8% in 2020 to 37.5%
in 2021.
