On Friday, July 12, 2024, the ceremony was held in Lomé to present the new Country Partnership Framework 2025-2029 of the World Bank Group (WB).

The new WB Country Partnership Framework will support Togo in its quest for more inclusive and sustainable growth, in line with the government's ambitions. It is structured around three major axes, namely: increasing the quality of employment in the private sector, improving human capital and promoting inclusive and resilient territorial development, for a total amount of 1.5 billion US dollars, or 900 billion CFA francs. According to the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, Governor of Togo at the World Bank, Sandra Ablamba Johnson, “The approval of this new partnership framework, which opens a new page for the strengthening of cooperation between Togo and the World Bank Group, for the next five years, is the result of the high-level exchanges that marked the stay of the Head of State, Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, & agrave; Washington, at the 2022 Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund...”.
