Council L'organisme de of Europe's fight against money laundering, MONEYVAL has published a new report in which it praises the dependence of the British Crown on Jersey.

Jersey is commended for the steps it has taken to strengthen its legal and regulatory framework to combat money laundering (BC), terrorist financing (FT), and proliferation financing (FP). The Council of Europe's anti-money laundering body has carried out a comprehensive assessment of the country's level of compliance with international standards established by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). He concluded that Jersey has most of the elements needed to ensure an effective AML/CFT system, but needs to improve the implementation of its measures in some areas
