In order to ensure the economic and social development of the Bélier region, the digital bank Orange Bank Africa (OBA) and the regional council decided to join forces to simplify access to credit and financial education for local populations. Thus, a partnership agreement was signed last Thursday.

The merger between Orange Bank Africa and the Bélier Regional Council is a new commitment by digital banking to support the transformation of the economic fabric by all actors, by providing the resources necessary for the development of competitive solutions. The bank will implement a specific financial education program, designed to strengthen the management skills of beneficiaries, in addition to helping to create opportunities. The program will allow the various beneficiaries to strengthen their production capacity by providing micro-loans ranging from 101,000 CFA francs to one million CFA francs.
