The market capitalization of the equity market recorded a sharp increase of 123.406 billion FCFA, at the end of the trading session on Friday, August 2, 2024 of the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM).

The market capitalization of the stock market increased from 8,854.349 billion FCFA the day before to 8,977.755 billion FCFA on Friday, August 2, 2024. The rise in the BRVM composite index, which gained 1.39% to 241.32 points against 238.00 points previously, is at the origin of the increase in this capitalization. There is also that of the BRVM 30 index, which recorded an increase of 1.50% to 120.79 points against 119.00 points previously. For its part, the BRVM Prestige index rose by 0.14% to 110.87 points against 110.72 points the day before. The value of transactions amounted to 1.109 billion FCFA against 743.082 million FCFA

Par ailleurs, la Capitalization of the bond market fell by 7.406 billion, from 10 325, 131 billion FCFA the day before to 10 317.725 billion FCFA.

The Flop 5 of the largest price drops is occupied by SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (minus 5.84% at 725 FCFA), SOGB Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.51% at 3,850 FCFA), Servair Abidjan Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.69% at 2,170 FCFA), SOGB Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.51% at 3,850 FCFA), Société Ivoirienne de Bank Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.16% to 6,350 FCFA) and Onatel Burkina Faso (minus 2.07% to 2,600 FCFA). The Top 5 of the largest price increases are occupied respectively by ETI Togo shares (plus 6.25% at 17 FCFA), Orange Côte d'Ivoire (plus 5.64% at 13,385 FCFA), Filtisac Côte d'Ivoire (plus 4.83% at 1,520 FCFA), Nestlé Côte d'Ivoire (plus 3,85% at 1,520 FCFA), Nestlé Côte d'Ivoire (plus 3.87% at 7,790 FCFA) and SODECI Côte d'Ivoire (plus 3.85% at 5,400 FCFA)
