The Chief Police Commissioner, Eric Dangala presented on Wednesday, August 7, three individuals suspected of trafficking counterfeit bills, representing a total value of 53 million CFA francs.

One of the suspects and canvasser Abdoulaye Aboubakar said that the counterfeit notes were made in Douala, Cameroon, at the order of Yaya and her brother Da Sylva Molo, a resident of Bangui, on order from Yaya and her brother Da Sylva Molo. He said that they offered five million CFA francs to a Nigerian citizen to produce the counterfeit banknotes.The suspect also informed that he had transported the counterfeit notes from Cameroon.
