In four days of trading, the capitalization of the shares market of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) recorded a cumulative increase of 129.113 billion FCFA.

This increase has in fact increased from 9,231.231 billion FCFA on Friday, August 16, 2024 to 9,360.344 billion FCFA on Thursday, August 22, 2024. Since August 19, 2024, this capitalization has increased continuously. But this increase is steady, reaching 60.243 billion on August 19, then 17.318 billion on August 20, 16.909 billion on August 21 and 34.643 billion on Thursday, August 22

This increase in equity market capitalization is a result of improved indexes. The BRVM composite index thus recorded an increase of 0.37% to 251.61 points against 250.67 points

As for the BRVM 30 index, it also increased by 0.51% to 126.48 points against 125.84 points previously. For its part, the BRVM Prestige index rose by 0.32% to 112.60 points against 112.24 points

As for the capitalization of the bond market, it is experiencing a decrease of 23.694 billion FCFA, to 10,400.893 billion FCFA against 10,424.587 billion FCFA on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.

The value of the transactions was 386.398 million FCFA compared to 2.632 billion FCFA the day before.
