At the end of the trading session on Thursday, August 29, 2024, the market capitalization of the equity market of the shares of the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM), recorded an increase of 22.052 billion FCFA.

The market capitalization of the equity market increased from 9,283.234 billion FCFA the day before to 9,305.286 billion FCFA on Thursday, August 29, 2024. On the other hand, that of the bond market recorded a decrease of 1.116 billion, to 10 363.795 billion FCFA against 10 369.248 billion FCFA on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
For its part, the value of the transactions stood at 723.273 million FCFA against 1.021 billion FCFA

the day before.

The indices are all in green. The composite index gained 0.64% to 253.51 points against 251.89 points the day before. As for the BRVM 30 index, it increased by 0.52% to 127.07 points against 126.41 points previously. For its part, the BRVM Prestige index rose by 0.27% to 113.44 points against 113.14 points

the day before.

The Flop 5 of the largest price drops is occupied by BOA Senegal (minus 33.16% at 3,135 FCFA), ETI Togo (minus 5.88% at 16 FCFA), SOGB Côte d'Ivoire (minus 5.88% at 16 FCFA), SOGB Côte d'Ivoire (minus 4.88% at 16 FCFA), SOGB Côte d'Ivoire (minus 4.87% at 3,710 FCFA), and Palm Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.61% at 4,800 FCFA) and Société Ivoirienne de Bank Ivory Coast (minus 2.36% at 6,000 FCFA

).

While the Top 5 of the largest price increases are occupied respectively by BICICI Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.50% to 10 750 FCFA), BOA Burkina Faso (plus 6.70% to 3,900 FCFA), BOA Burkina Faso (plus 6.70% to 3,900 FCFA), BOA Mali (plus 6.23% to 1,535 FCFA), Air Liquide Côte d'Ivoire (plus 6.06% to 700 FCFA)) and Orange Côte d'Ivoire (plus 2.62% at 14 880 FCFA).
