In collaboration with the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the support of the European Union (EU), COFINA Senegal has already granted more than 440 million CFA francs (equivalent to 675,000 euros) to 57 SMEs exclusively in the chains sources of agricultural value.

COFINA Senegal's financing covers 14 SMEs in the horticulture sector and 35 in the cereals sector, two priority sectors of the partnership between the EU and Senegal. These loans are part of the financing agreement of 25 million euros (equivalent to 16.4 billion CFA francs) concluded in September 2023 between the COFINA Group and the European Investment Bank (EIB) via BEI Monde, its branch dedicated to development, which in particular supports the private sector active in agricultural value chains. Around 2,300 jobs in Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) and Midsize Enterprises (SMEs) will be supported in Senegal as part of this partnership.
