Terrorist act: at least 15 dead in New Orleans

A former American soldier, “inspired” by the Islamic State group, rushed his car into a crowd celebrating New Year's Eve on Wednesday in New Orleans. At least 15 people were killed and around 30 injured. US President Joe noted that the suspect, killed by the police, had “published videos on social networks indicating that he was inspired by the Islamic State” and that he had a “desire to kill”.

Vehicle explosion in front of a Trump hotel in Las Vegas: one person dead

A Tesla Cybertruck vehicle, Elon Musk's pickup truck, exploded on Wednesday outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas. One person lost their life. Authorities are looking to find out if there was a connection to the attack in New Orleans, according to Joe Biden. Kevin McMahill, Las Vegas police sheriff, said at a press conference that “there is one person dead inside the Cybertruck” specifying that seven other people were suffering from “minor injuries”.
