Tibet earthquake: several dead on Tuesday

After the American Institute of Geological Studies (USGS) reported a magnitude 7.1 earthquake in the region, an earthquake caused several deaths on Tuesday in the Himalayan region of Tibet in southwest China, according to state media. According to the news agency Chine Nouvelle, people “were killed in three municipalities”. The earthquake was felt as far away as Kathmandu, Nepal.
