Find all the economic and financial information on our Orishas Direct application to download on Play StoreOn 10 March 2025, OCP Africa, the pan-African subsidiary of the global phosphate fertilizer giant, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in order to support agricultural transformation in Nigeria.
The memorandum of understanding signed by OCP Africa will allow the establishment of bonded warehouses for P fertilizers (TSP and others). It also covers soil mapping initiatives, the co-development of a local granulation plant for soil correction additives as well as the development of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) platforms. It will also make it possible to adopt digital solutions for precision agriculture and to strengthen R&D for sustainable agriculture. According to the pan-African subsidiary of the global phosphate fertilizer giant, “this strategic agreement reinforces our partnership with the main stakeholders, in particular the Ministry of Finance,Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) , National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF), and the Nigeria Fertilizer Producers and Suppliers Association (FEPSAN)
”.
