L' Autorité Supérieure de Contrôle d' État et de Lutte contre la Corruption (ASCE-LC) a rendu public ce vendredi 04 juillet 2025 son General Annual Activity Report ( RAGA) for the year 2023. This report is produced each year in order to report on the actions carried out by the institution as part of its missions to prevent, control, investigate, coordinate and monitor legal actions in the fight against corruption, c in accordance with the provisions of Organic Law No. 082-2015/CNT of November 24, 2015.

The RAGA is composed of three volumes. In general, it details the budgetary resources allocated to ASCE-LC, the assessment of control and prevention activities, as well as the follow-up of recommendations and legal proceedings initiated. The aim of this report is to raise public awareness on the challenges of good governance and to propose reforms to improve the management of public finances.

En effet, en 2023, ASCE-LC carried out five planned audits on key structures such as the Central Purchasing Authority for Generic Essential Medicines (CAMEG), the Community Project for Recovery and Stabilization of the Sahel (PCRSS), the Patriotic Support Fund (FSP), the COVID-19 Preparedness and Response Project (PPR COVID-19) and the Territorial Development and Resilience Emergency Project (PUDTR). 23 commissioned audits were conducted in state companies and

public institutions.

Also, the Office for Receiving Complaints and Denunciations (BRPD) registered 261 complaints in 2023. Fifty administrative inquiries have been opened, involving 25 public structures, including ministries, communities and state corporations. Out of 71 allegations examined, 48% were confirmed, leading to 14 court referrals. The proven damages amount to 213 million FCFA

Likewise, twenty-one files were sent to the criminal courts of Banfora, Bobo-Dioulasso, Dédougou and Ouagadougou. Those involved include members of the government, elected officials, administrative officials, magistrates and diplomats. Of the 1,386 recommendations made in 11 reports, the implementation rate reached 54.11%. Ten cases resulted in convictions, with sentences ranging from twelve months to seven years in prison, as well as fines totalling 10.8 billion CFA francs. Six reports refer to alleged mismanagement before the Court of Auditors
