This session was launched by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in collaboration with the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (ARCOP)
.The work planned for four days brings together representatives of 25 contracting authorities, considered to be major consumers of CR& public statements. This activity is part of the project “Strengthening the rule of law and local governance”, carried out by UNDP. The objective is to strengthen the capacities of public actors involved in procurement procedures in order to promote ethical practices, improve the performance of institutions and reduce the risks of corruption. The session will allow participants to deepen their understanding of the economic and social challenges of a transparent process, existing preventive tools and legal provisions in force.
The training is based on the national legal framework, in particular the law No. 2021-033 relating to public procurement as well as the code of ethics and deontology, which constitute the foundations of the regulation of the sector.
