The latest operational report from the Australian mining operator active in West Africa, Perseus Mining was published on Monday, July 28, 2025. This document informs that for fiscal year 2025 (period from July 2024 to June 2025), Perseus Mining produced a total of 496,551 ounces of gold thanks to its West African mines.

Production for the period from July 2024 to June 2025 represents a year-on-year decrease of 2% compared to 509,977 ounces reported at the end of the previous fiscal year. Perseus currently operates three gold mines, namely Yaouré and Sissingué located in Côte d'Ivoire, as well as Edikan in Ghana. Thanks to the 496,551 ounces mentioned above, the company nevertheless achieved its annual production forecasts of between 470,000 and 505,000 ounces. However, the decline in production is expected to continue in fiscal year 2026 when Perseus expects to deliver between 400,000 and 440,000 ounces of gold. A trajectory in line with short-term plans where it expects a decline in the operational performance of its mines, on the sidelines of the development of its Nyanzaga project in Tanzania

A rebound is however expected by 2030, especially with the commissioning of Nyanzaga scheduled for 2027. Perseus projects an average annual production of between 515,000 and 535,000 ounces of gold over the period
