At the end of its issuance of a simultaneous auction of 364-day treasury bills and comparable 3 and 5-year treasury bonds organized on the UEMOA financial market, the State of Senegal obtained on Friday, August 22, 2025, the sum of 40.415 billion CFA francs.

The operation involved an initial amount of 40 billion CFA francs, divided between a BAT of 364 days and two OATs of 3 and 5 years. The call aroused strong interest from investors, with global submissions reaching 45.4 billion CFA francs, or a coverage rate of 113.5%

In the end, 40.415 billion were retained, corresponding to an absorption rate of 89%. The BAT was fully served for 10.764 billion CFA francs, while the OAT at 3 years mobilized 22.51 billion and that at 5 years 7.14 billion
